Wilderness

Sky Ranch Ute Trail WILDERNESS

Bring your group to connect with God in the ROCKY MOUNTAINS of COLORADO. Sky Ranch offers three wilderness experiences to choose from:

-Wilderness Backpacking
-Wilderness Kayak Touring
-Wilderness Adventure Trips (both backpacking & kayaking)

Along with our trained guide staff, youth groups will spend four to six nights in a tight knit community hiking/paddling through the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. While each person learns basic mountaineering and low impact camping, this wilderness setting also provides a backdrop for groups to hear one another's story, establish trust, and evaluate their relationship with Christ in the grandeur of His Creation.

Wilderness Adventures are available to youth groups, families, men’s/women’s groups, leadership groups, parent-child retreats, and Christian Schools, and trips can be customized from four to six nights. Call and ask about our Denver inner city mission’s opportunities after your group’s wilderness trip. Wilderness Trips are for groups of 9 to 13 participants (multiple groups welcome). Come share with us an experience that changes lives!

WILDERNESS BACKPACKING

Your group will live in close community hiking through the beautiful Rocky Mountains (average 4 to 5 miles a day). Groups rely on one another, and individuals have time to evaluate as well as grow in their relationship with Christ, all in the grandeur of His Creation.

  

WILDERNESS KAYAK TOURING

Wilderness Kayak Touring is similar in content to a backpacking trip, but the adventure is in a kayak on flat water! You will experience a lifetime of memories as you and your group paddle around the Blue Mesa Reservoir (average 4 to 5 miles a day).

  

WILDERNESS ADVENTURE TRIPS

Wilderness Adventure Trips combine both the Backpacking and Kayak Touring experience. Your group you will grow closer to each other and to God as you hike and paddle in the Rocky Mountains and on the Blue Mesa Reservoir (average 4 to 5 miles a day & is 6 nights minimum).
