Extreme Opportunity

The Carr Family has been on an amazing ride!  It began by welcoming home and adopting their four children from Kazakhstan, each one beautiful and dealing with a special need.  Their East Texas community joined together and shared the families' story and needs with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and their lives were forever changed.

The Carr's are about seeing real change.  They want to know what it looks like when the world operates the way we all hope it would.  That's why the Carr's have teamed up with a ministry that is making positive change in the lives of thousands of children each year.  Together with Sky Ranch Christian Camps, they are working to serve as a catalyst for change in the lives of children from every walk of life.

About the experience, Mike says, "Thousands of people said yes, yes we will help, yes I will use my vacation time, and yes I will work all night and day.  Because of that sacrifice the house was built with love that shows in every detail.  Through this whole process my family was in constant prayer over what to do with this incredible blessing.  The answer...say yes.  Give this back and help the commuity and the children who live in it."
