A Lesson in Humility - Week 9

Week 9
November 2-8, 2009

This must be about His glory  Ephesians 3:20-21, Hebrews 13:21
*God is glorified when others are helped in His name
+God's glory is manifested when people are loved   I John 3:18-19
*God is glorified in the process, not in the results   2 Thessalonians 1:11,12

+Don't forget to go back to the basics  I Corinthians 2:1-2
     *Man's humility leads to God's glory   I Peter 5:6

Lessons Learned

I Peter 5:6 (Amplified) "Therefore humble yourselves (demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation) under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you."

I went to Allen Bach's Mentorship camp this week.  I am sad to say that I arrived there thinking that I could get a few "pointers" to help me prepare for the WTEC only to find that I needed to radically change some parts of my swing and my riding - - thank you, Father, for the lesson in humility.  The funny thing is, I  thought last week was the lesson, but it was only the study session!

David Key completely changed my delivery and Al changed how I ride, but if God hadn't instructed me in humility, I would have never been able to learn from Al and David.
