Tuition Assistance and Scholarship Program

Our goal at Sky Ranch is to never have to turn a child away from hearing the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  In the current economic climate, we recognize that this might be a difficult time for families to send their children to summer camp.  Sky Ranch needs the support of generous donors designating gifts towards scholarship assistance to be able to serve children who might not otherwise be able to come to camp.

A few moments spent watching a television, glancing at a front-page newspaper article, or listening to a popular radio station makes it clear that our children are constantly barraged with conflicting messages – messages that blur the lines between right and wrong.  The dominant influence of the media coupled with a lack of positive role modes induces many young people to be swayed – quick to respond to the latest trend, idea or pop influence.  Everyday, society bombards us and daily choices become more and more crucial in determining our impact to the world and those around us. 

Sky Ranch Scholarships Support the Following Ministries:

Summer Camp Scholarships:  Your gift helps send a child to Sky Ranch that may not be able to attend otherwise.  Camper families can apply for a full or partial scholarship.  These applications are presented before a committee to help determine the best distribution of these designated funds.

TRU Camp Scholarships:  Sky Ranch TRU Camp takes one week out of the traditional Sky Ranch summer camp experience to provide an opportunity for a child to come to camp that currently has a parent/guardian incarcerated.  The children that we serve are in foster homes, live with other family members, one parent, or sometimes even homeless are at a high risk of abuse and neglect, of illiteracy, drug abuse and delinquency.  With the support of foundations and other generous donors, we can do our part to break a vicious cycle that lasts from generation to generation.  Funds are needed each year to cover the cost of camp, bus transportation for some as well as spending money for campers while at camp.

Military Family Camp:  Your gift blesses Military families with a week of Family Camp for a time of relaxation, refreshment, and renewal to spend time with their families in the beautiful mountains of Colorado.  This is a way to extend our thanks and support to the men and women who are serving to protect our freedoms and privileges we enjoy as Americans.
